There are several ways residents and property owners can get involved. We have designed the process so comments can be given in public at meetings and/or in writing through the internet. See below for the opportunities to participate:
· Attend public meetings. Come to one of the public meetings and get an updated status of the Master Plan as well as draft ideas and recommendations and comment on them.
· Make comments on this website. Click the “Your Thoughts” link on the homepage and make comments.
· Go to the Township’s facebook page. Use the Township’s facebook page to hear the latest updates and make comments.
· Participate in the Master Plan Surveys. Questions about the Master Plan will be posted periodically on Survey Monkey (www.surveymonkey.com). Check back to this website to see the latest survey.
· Map your comments. Click the map feature link on the right side of the homepage and see how you can identify an area in the Township and make a comment about it. For example, you can select an area of the Township which has characteristics you admire and would like to see elsewhere or conversely, you could identify features of an area which believe should be changed.

- Hamilton Township is embarking on a Township-wide Master Plan - the first in over 20 years! This Master Plan will set forth how the Township should develop and redevelop in the coming years. It will review and make recommendations on all aspects of Township planning including land use (such as permitted uses and zoning districts), transportation (such as roads, sidewalks and bike routes), open space, the environment, economic development and overall neighborhood improvement. On August 6th, the Township held the Hamilton 2020 Symposium which brought together business owners and residents along the Route 33 corridor to discuss how the business climate, function and aesthetics of the Route 33 commercial corridor could be improved.
